What? Research predicts by 1988 a typical household will have one ~free~ computer with a telephone line connection to a host organization. The homeowner would use this free computer for a profit if desired. By 1990, other predictions said over 50% of households will have home computers, up from 7% at the time. How many are in your home now?

ARES participated in a SAR (Search & Rescue) drill at Recreation Unlimited in Ashley, complete with dogs and full complement of first responders. Walter Vogel talked about alternative energy for the home (slightly ahead of his time!)
