Ham Radio Resources
For Youth, Students, Teachers and Any New or Prospective Hams (or anyone working with
these groups) Part of this month’s column is made up of a handout for Students &
Teachers (tiny.cc/hry), but before we jump into that a few loose ends. Recently I attended a
PCARS meeting with Carole Perry, a legend as a Teacher of Amateur Radio in The Classroom,
as guest speaker. If you would like to see a video of the presentation PCARS has posted it
here.
If you are attending the Dayton Hamvention® Carol will be doing two forums- Instructors
Forum on Friday and Student Forum on Saturday both are very worthwhile events to attend.
Here is a tentative schedule.
A few months ago my column described the ARRL Teachers Institute on Wireless
Technology. Just a reminder the application deadline for this year’s sessions is May 1st.
I would love to meet you in person, and I will be at this year’s Dayton Hamvention®️.
Although I will not be there all of the time, I do have a Flea Market spot #9704 (near the
buildings) where you can find me. License plates on the vehicle will probably be my wife
Linda’s KA8ODP so don’t be confused. Now on with the resource links for Ham Radio
