Parks…parks…parks
In no particular order, here are some reflections on the “Ohio Parks on the Air” operating event. It
was good to see so many DELARANS active!
Hey all,
The OSPOTA results are out and am excited just to see my call.
In the Single Opp Low Power I placed 14 out of 32 . My 1st time solo.
Already planning for next year.
In the link go to pages 8 > 14 in the article.
I'm just tickled to not be last but I was never concerned about that to begin with. All about have a
good experience.

Well done Jamie! It's all about having fun.
I noticed the winner in your category was also in Delaware State Park. (WB8CPG)
Joe, K8MP
My brother, K8RGI, and I were operating out of Oak Point State park..The smallest state park. The
rules for the islands state park are a little different in that you only need to be on the island.
Which includes being tied up to a dock with your boat. I was using my mag loop antenna. Next
year, I will be using my 25 ft vertical slinky antenna with a 9 to 1 balun and tuner…it will operate 80
to 10.
