I was scanning 2m today, and came across a conversation on the 145.21 WB8WQ

Repeater (somewhere on the east or south east side of Columbus). There were 4 or 5

hams having a round-table discussion on several topics, including testing.

One of the guys mentioned he took his General test in Delaware in September 'at the

Red Cross there on Hills-Miller Rd'. He said he really appreciated the welcome he

received, and told the others how well the testing session was run and what a positive

experience it was. He also got a chance to visit our club station, and said it was very

impressive.

I wanted to pass this along to Gary and the VE Team - you are making a great first

impression for our Club. And to all who contributed to the club station - you've given

everyone something to be proud of.
