Oh boy, we’re big time now!

WADCO Award goes national The WADCO Dragon has been slain!!! The WADCO award has been claimed by 4 local hams. Jamie AD8EC drove around thru all the townships and gave contacts to W8CR, K8AOK and W8ERD. KE8JLG was given a “special” award. Severel members noted something of interest in this edition of “CQ Magazine” and its awards section- it’s the “Worked All Delaware County” award, masterminded by our own Dr. Bob, W8ERD and to date ~never claimed~! Now, not only will we need to shake our complacency but we’ll need to be on the lookout for outlanders who want to sneak in and grab our certificate! Well, actually, we have plenty to go around. But it was great to see Bob’s work in print. The picture was on the front page, comments are in the “State QSO” section on page two. Click to expand.

The time comes for us all

Gary, KE8O’s wife Sandy let us in on a big event in Gary’s life… something many of us have already experienced. Now, we need to make sure Gary picks up the tab to take advantage of his new-found financial bonus! With gray hair comes ‘golden’ opportunity!

For Sale / Wanted

I have 2 UBNT G3 1080p Indoor/Outdoor w/infrared cameras I'm no longer using. They are POE powered, come with the POE power injector and can be managed using the free UBNT NVR controller software. I also have a UBNT UVC-Micro which is a wifi indoor camera, However, I used it on my porch which is protected from rain/snow and it worked fine year round. The two G3's are 100% operational. The micro should work but I dropped it about 1' foot off the cement basement floor when putting it into the original box. Take it home and try it out to make sure its what you want and works as expected. $40 takes all 3 camera's. -Gary, KE8O
