Howdy from Joe’s Place!
The 2022 Delaware Veteran’s Day Parade
Once again, Delara provided communications for this parade. Dan, AD8FY; Bob, W8ERD; Russ, AF8RJ; Doug, KE8QJQ, and I were spaced along the route which started at the fairgrounds and ended at Wilmer St. Margo, “The Parade Lady” voiced a big “Thank you” to you guys. The parade was preceded by a luncheon for the veterans, held in the brand new Junior Fair Bldg. We had live music! Dr. Bob arrived in his ARES Mobile. Bob’s grandson(s) marched with the Buckeye Valley band! The Delaware Fire Department proudly displayed our flag Proud kids (ROTC or First Responders maybe?) Blue Star Moms Ridin’ in style The weather was a tad breezy but beautiful.
