You’ve reached the home of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service for Delaware County, Ohio!

We are an active group, providing reliable communications for public service events and emergencies. Select the tab on the menu above to learn more about what ARES is and what we can do.

Delaware ARES uses our own ARES repeater , N8DCA, at 145.19 (open). We also use the other Delaware repeaters: 145.17 (tone), 145.29 (123 tone) or 443.55 (open).

We meet on a radio net the first Thursday of each month. And we meet in person the second Thursday of the month - usually at the Delaware County Emergency Operations Center downtown.

For members, we have training material, schedules, and a summary of our activities to date. 

We hope you enjoy checking our our site, including our members’ projects such as Canned Ham and Camo Ham (radio operating trailers) and other bits and pieces of this wonderful hobby.
